R. Abbar bar Aba said:

It is difficult to fathom the generosity of this people [Israel]: when asked to contribute to making the [golden] calf, they respond; when asked to contribute to building of the Tabernacle, they respond! (Shek 2b and En Yaakov, ad loc.)

    That’s right Gene. Truly so. Over my life I witnessed many stories like this one. May we respond always in good way only.
